Army with 'Iron Man' suits?

Defense companies are hoping to make external skeleton suits, for military troops, that provide superhuman abilities. That day still may be years away, but Raytheon, one of the companies working on this idea. The main purpose of the suit, for now, is to let the wearer carry more equipment on the battlefield. Raytheon says the suit could have two versions: a combat one that goes just from the legs down and would be primarily used to support a backpack, and a full-body logistics version, which would enable the soldier to carry even more supplies. Another suit is being made by a rival company known as Lockheed Martin Corp.

  1. That is very interesting. I wonder how they will be able to make it and how it would work. I think that the suits could help and could be very useful. That is an interesting article.

  2. This new battle suit could become a new break out of the modern equipped gear. It will be interesting in how the suit is made and how it will work out for the wearers. The company's buyers may become a better opponent in battle for all we know, but the equipment may not be available for a few years, which leaves a few drawbacks.
